How to automate your migration
At some point, every technical platform is obsolete! Because legacy systems slow down the ability to innovate. At first glance, the solution seems quite simple: old software must be replaced by new technologies and platforms. But what to do with the treasure of data collected over the years? Data migrations are labor-intensive, complex, time-consuming, error-prone and expensive. Natuvion DCS separates important from unimportant data and matches and migrates the relevant data to the new applications.
Natuvion Data Conversion Server (DCS) is a complete Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) platform. The Natuvion DCS reads, analyzes, extracts, transforms data from a wide variety of sources (systems, databases, files, web services, etc.) and writes it to various destinations. The transformation platform can transform SAP NetWeaver and SAP HANA (including SAP S/4HANA) based system landscapes as well as ORACLE, Salesforce, powercloud and Microsoft system landscapes. Implementation scenarios range from system restructurings, consolidations, carve-outs to data migrations and data cleansing.
The architecture of the Natuvion DCS platform enables the automation of transformation processes. Recurring project requirements are preserved in templates and can be reused in follow-up activities or projects. The integrated data quality management (QAS) provides the necessary reliability for complex transformation activities with various object validations (plausibility), technical data comparison analyses as well as data and process integrity checks.

Transformation Management & Cutover
The Natuvion DCS has an integrated task control on board with the Cutover application, which makes every single work step within a project transparent. This keeps all stakeholders at all locations of a transformation project involved in the process and current status. Unexpected events can be responded to immediately, reducing status documentation and meetings.
High performance and minimal business interruption
The Natuvion DCS is specifically designed to handle extremely large data volumes. It can read, transform, write or delete data natively at the database level. To further optimize system downtime (near zero downtime), the Natuvion DCS supports with intelligent nZDT procedures such as data synchronization (trigger) and warm/cold data identification and waving mechanisms.

Integrated quality assurance
Data verification, data quality measurement as well as data and process integrity can also be automated with Natuvion DCS. Data can be verified in bulk both qualitatively and technically. With this functionality, it is possible to test and verify data before and after transformation, before the system is handed over to testers or end users. Use cases range from data integrity assurance during an SAP S/4HANA transformation to regular data quality measurement during ongoing operations.
Data Compliance & Governance
Personal data read, transformed or written with the Natuvion DCS can be depersonalized with the integrated anonymization functionality TDA. This ensures that test systems with personal data are handled in a GDPR-compliant manner during transformation. The Natuvion DCS also supports the search and identification of personal (PPI) data with integrated analysis technology.
Technical requirement:
Natuvion DCS is available for SAP ERP, SAP IS-U, SAP CRM and SAP HCM with an ABAP version 7.02 or higher. For SAP BW, ABAP version 7.4 or higher is required.
