For the 2026 IT Transformation Study, we partnered with NTT DATA Business Solutions to survey 1,115 companies worldwide about their recent IT transformation. The findings are clear: Nearly 80% exceeded their budget and timeline. On average, organizations achieved only 71% of their transformation goals.
But there are exceptions. 203 organizations achieved all of their transformation objectives. So, what sets these top performers apart?
