Munich/Walldorf - Thüga and Natuvion launch a platform solution for process automation

The new company Natuvion Digital models and markets software robots for the automated processing of business processes via a central IT infrastructure - in short platform solution Robotics.

On the 1st of April 2019 Natuvion GmbH, Walldorf founded Natuvion Digital GmbH. Thüga Aktiengesellschaft, Munich is a strategic partner of the operating company of robotics applications. The IT consulting company and the Thüga network of municipal companies in the energy and water industry want to jointly model new robots for process automation and market them in the energy sector. The solutions range from pure platform operation to standardized robots and individual implementations.

      Relieving employees of standard tasks

"Robotics is an important lever to make processes in the core business of the energy industry more efficient", says Dr. Matthias Cord, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Thüga Aktiengesellschaft. "With Natuvion Digital, we can bring Robotics solutions, that our Thüga Competence Center Digitization & Commercial Consulting has developed with partner companies of the Thüga Group, to an even broader market." Robotics mimics human interaction with user interfaces of software systems, in which software robots take over the role of the users. Monotone assignments are being automated, process costs can be reduced up to 90 percent and capacities can be created for more demanding tasks.

      Platform with strong partners

Partners that were already involved with Natuvion in development and pilot projects, will continue to work together in the implementation of robotics solutions for new customers, besides Thüga these include E-MAKS, Visconto and Thüga Energienetze. They have already successfully demonstrated the potential of Robotics with several pilot applications in the areas of network billing, customer service, financial accounting and billing management. The management consultancy accenture will act as the incubator for Natuvion Digital, advising them on content and strategy.

Double CEO power for Natuvion Digital

"Natuvion has comprehensive SAP® know-how, Thüga has developed application-oriented robotics solutions. In order to scale them faster, we have combined both in Natuvion Digital," explains Jesko Schultes. He will move from Thüga to the management board of Natuvion Digital, where he will be in charge of operations and project management, as well as strategy and corporate development and business development

Together with Jesko Schultes, Holger Strotmann will be head of Natuvion Digital. Strotmann is responsible for strategy and corporate development on the management board alongside Schultes. He is also founder and CEO of Natuvion GmbH and will contribute his comprehensive IT know-how and many years of project experience in process automation. "The topic of Robotic Process Automation is becoming increasingly important across all industries.", so Strotmann. "With the founding of Natuvion Digital, we have created the ideal conditions to professionally accompany our customers on their way into the future."
