At the same time, the challenge was to assess both the technical architecture and the underlying processes from a holistic perspective. In addition to complying with GDPR requirements, future regulatory obligations related to planned market expansions also had to be considered. Palturai therefore required a structured and comprehensive assessment covering both technical and legal aspects while ensuring full transparency regarding potential risks.
Structured GDPR assessment based on an established data protection model
To evaluate GDPR compliance, Natuvion developed a structured assessment approach based on the Standard Data Protection Model (SDM). Using a detailed catalog of questions and evaluation criteria, Palturai’s systems, processes, and business model were comprehensively reviewed. This approach enabled a systematic assessment aligned with key protection objectives such as data minimization, integrity, and confidentiality.
The assessment was conducted in close collaboration with Palturai and complemented by the legal expertise of the law firm SKW Schwarz. The findings were documented in a detailed report that not only evaluated the current state but also included concrete recommendations for further optimization. As a result, Palturai gained clear guidance on how to ensure full GDPR compliance from both a technical and organizational perspective.

The assessment confirmed that Palturai meets the requirements of the GDPR as well as other relevant legal regulations. Key data protection principles such as data minimization, integrity, confidentiality, and unlinkability are fully observed.
